Electric panel
The Electric Panel is an interactive educational device that shows a child the principle of electricity in a simple way. By setting an element of the panel in motion, the child activates a mechanism that causes the light elements to illuminate. The child can therefore directly observe the relationship between their own action and the creation of a light effect.
How does the Electric Panel support a child's development?
Activating the panel independently allows the child to learn the basic cause-and-effect relationship and introduces the topic of energy and electricity in an accessible way. Manipulating the moving element also develops hand dexterity, visual-motor coordination and precision of movement. The appearing light attracts attention and encourages repeating the experiment and observing its results.
The panel does not require running or climbing, so it can be an attractive element of an inclusive playground. It allows children with different movement abilities to participate in play based on hand movement, observation and light.
Play with the Electric Panel supports:
understanding the cause-and-effect relationship,
learning the basics of how electricity works,
fine motor skills and manual dexterity,
visual-motor coordination,
concentration and attention,
cognitive curiosity and experimentation.
The Electric Panel combines play with a simple educational experience, allowing the child to independently check how movement can be used to produce a light effect.
