Tube bells
Tubular bells are a musical panel equipped with suspended tubes of different lengths. The child makes individual tubes vibrate, producing different sounds that can be combined into rhythms and simple melodies. The panel works without an external power supply and allows direct experience of the relationship between movement and the sound produced.
How do tubular bells support a child's development?
Experimenting with sound develops auditory perception, memory and a sense of rhythm. Choosing successive tubes engages visual-motor coordination and precision of movement, while creating one's own melodies stimulates creativity and musical expression.
The device does not require running or climbing and can be used both for independent discovery of sounds and for making music together.
