Kahony
Kahoni is a set of percussion instruments designed for making music together on a playground. A child strikes the drum membranes with their hands, producing sounds and creating their own rhythms. Several playing surfaces allow experimenting with tempo, strike force and the order of sounds. The design of the device allows several children to play at the same time.
How do Kahoni support a child's development?
Playing the drums develops a sense of rhythm, auditory perception and motor coordination. Striking with the hands engages the arms, helps control the force of movement and encourages repeating rhythmic sequences. A child can imitate the rhythm of others or create their own patterns.
Making music together also promotes cooperation and communication – children can listen to each other and create a simple "orchestra".

a sense of rhythm,
auditory perception,
motor coordination,
control and precision of movements,
